My clients reached out because they wanted their stunning Edwardian house to feel like their own home. Although it had fantastic structure and a dream-like entrance hall, it lacked character and warmth and didn’t represent their style.
I was excited for the opportunity to work with them on their formal living room, cosy family area, hallway, staircase, landing, and master bedroom. My team of tradespeople and I collaborated to design and coordinate the entire project's installation. We stripped the rooms down to the brick, re-plastered, redecorated, installed new flooring, window treatments, and furniture.
We transformed rooms that were cold and lacking in personality into vibrant spaces filled with colour, warmth, and texture. They now have a home they adore, which they can share with their adult children and grandchildren.
Here's what my clients had to say about the transformation:
"In the past we have always taken on the decorating ourselves, but on this occasion, we felt the scale of work, and the desire to decorate in a style sympathetic to the age and character of the house meant we needed design skills and help with project management.
We found Amy and we knew immediately that we had found the right person. She was exceptionally good at understanding our tastes and requirements and very soon produced Design Documents which we loved from first sight covering paint schemes, lighting, furniture, carpets and curtains and other soft furnishings. She often made suggestions which we wouldn’t otherwise have considered.
We are delighted with the outcome and have no hesitation in recommending Amy".
If you would like to discuss your interior design project in Manchester or Cheshire, then I'd love to hear from you.
